'Pudding Charms', set of 6 solid silver charms
Set of 6 solid silver charms supplied with silver jump rings and beautifully gift boxed.
These 6 stunning charms, associated with good fortune, make wonderful seasonal gifts (they can easily be added to a necklace or bracelet) and add a little sparkle to the festive table when placed in crackers, tied to wine glasses or added to place settings. And of course, they can be baked in a pudding, as is the tradition!
The English tradition of baking charms within a Christmas pudding dates back to Victorian times. Generations past delighted in finding little silver treasures wrapped in paper in their pudding or cake which would amusingly predict the year ahead. This delightful set of six silver charms comes beautifully packaged and consists of a bachelors button, lucky horseshoe, coin of fortune, bell of betrothal, thimble of blessedness and a wishbone granting the finder a wish.
If baking in a pudding, please use with care. We suggest wrapping the individual charms in pieces of grease-proof paper or tying ribbons through the ring to make them easily identifiable. Warn all guests beforehand (especially children) and make sure everyone is supervised.
Sterling silver charms with silver jump rings attached.
